This is the first of a set of guides on how to tart up your engine bay.
this guide will show you how to polish up your cvh metal oil filler cap, from yellow to shiney
Tools Needed:
Drill
Paint remover disc
Sand paper/ Wet & dry 1200 to 1500 grit
G Clamp
metal polish

1. get your oil cap, new or old, i got mine from ebay for £2.25, bargain :)

2. Fit the paint removing disc to the drill. remove the black rubber strap and glamp the cap to a work surface with a g clamp.

then start to remove the paint, make sure you protect your eyes.

4. keep rotateing the cap untill you get all the paint off then start to use
1200 grit wet and dry to smooth out the scratches.
proceed to use the 1500 grit to get a mirror like finish to it.

5. use some metal polish to keep the shine on the cap then refit the rubber tie. refit to your car, job done,
