Here is a guide to install an OMP Lower Strut Brace to a MK5 Fiesta.

Why should i?, I hear you cry.

Well it will improve the stability of the front end of the car.
Increase Handling
and look nice.

Tools Needed:

OMP Lower Brace
Jack
Axel stands
Ratchet with 15 end (ithink)
Spanner size 17
WD40

Wabbit Killer

Splat!!

Applies to:
All MK5's
brace

1) The night before you do this take the Strut brace and trail fit it,
you will notice the two nuts on the lower arms that line up.
WD40 and give these two bolts a good spraying. This will loosen them up for when you start.

2) Next follow normal proceedure for taking both front wheels off and setting
the car on TWO axel stands as hight will be an issue -
will make things easier but remember with hight requires saftey!!

brace

3) With the car sat high enough for you to work undernieth find the right size
for one of these nuts - Ones you WD40'd (do one at a time).
Also Take your 17 size spanner and use the spanner on the bolt
on the reverse size of the bolt. NOTE: do not pull or bend any abs wires reaching the bolt at the back!

brace

a) Repeat this for the other side. dont worry if the lower arm pops out as it shouldnt upset anything. b) On the passenger side bolt, they maybe a little cover connected to the bolt. This can be left off as the brace wiill not sit right with it on - it only protects the nut from dirt.

brace

4) Take your strut brace and push a bolt through the brace and through
the lower arm (as it was originally but with the brace the correct way!).
Repeat for the other side. Now with the bolts in place, put the nuts back
on the other end of the bolt and make sure both bolts/Nuts are tight.

brace

5) Put your wheels back on and gently lower the car to the ground -
dont forget to tighten the wheel nuts properly!.

6) Now take your car out and enjoy!! You may hear afew creeks for the first minute or so,
dont worry its just the bar settling in. If in doubt check the nuts after afew days.

brace brace

Notes: The bar is quite low so remember speed bumps, it shouldnt catch but if
it does it will only scrape the bar. Also if parking half road half path,
take into account of the size of the kurb!

Also as trecoll pointed out, as these are lowish remember if you see a hedgehog
or bunny that you may not be able to drive over them safely (wheels either side, not literally!).

I hope you have fun with this little addition, it really strengthens up the car!
I have done my best in writting a informative guide tho i do not take responsability for any damage or injurty.
