1.) Disconnect the battery - as true haynes style
2.) Loosen the alloy nuts and jack up the rear, and remove the two rear wheels.
|
|
3.) Undo the four 17mm(i think) bolts behind the drum that hold it to the beam,
wd40 may help here.
4.) With the bolts removed the drum may still be stuck to the beam,
use a rubber hammer to persude it to come off lol but dont let the drum drop,
also becarful with the abs sensor (if you have one).
|
|
5.) (if you have it) remove the abs sensor bolt with an 8mm( i think) socket.
then use a flat blade screw driver to very carefully remove the sensor.
6.) Very carefully using a clean rag clean the sensor
7.) Once done feed the snsor through the spacer and bolt the sensor back to the drum.
8.) Use the longer bolts provided and bolt the drum back in place. make sure they're tight.
9.) put whheel back on and nip the nuts up
10.) repeat steps to the other side
11.) lower car to the ground and tighten the wheel nuts
12.) re connect the batt

|
If the abs sensor light stays on then go back and clean the sensors again,
these can be annoyingly tricky to sort as im sorting mine out.
i do not accept any responsability for any injury or damage,
so make sure you know what you're doing .
