Heres a nice little guide for you to do on a rainy day.

In this guide we show you how to change your boring BLACK dials and warning lamps to WHITE.

This guide is meant for the Mk3 Fiesta as the clocks do not have the airbag light.

DISCLAIMER:
WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOU NOT ALIGNING THE DIALS CORRECTLY AND GETTING STOPPED FOR SPEEDING!

Tools Needed:

Photo Paper
Printer
Knife
Coloured Cell/plastic
Double sided tape
Circle Cutter
CD-R Pen or Paint

So Bright!
White

Download the template from either Asad(thanks mate) Here

Or my web site (my version has the large hole design)

Clocks Here
Legands Here

Print out onto the back of Ilford Photo Printasia Photo Satin Paper from staples.
Use the back for a good reason; it looks better than the front,
its too shiny on the front.

Leave to dry for 24 hours other wise it will smudge.

Cut out the template on the inside of the line and use a circle cutter to
cut out the holes for the dials and then a scalpel for the mileage hole(s)

Print
Now the legends!

Set Photoshop to print on A5 size paper.

Open the file all markers and select the (!) and (P) sections along
with the lights, indicator and oil and battery sections.
Print this off again on the matt side of the paper.
Leave to dry, or cover and put back in the printer to print on the reverse.

Deselect the all the above and only show the choke and management reversed
layer and the Line layer. Print out and leave to dry.

Before you go any further you need the following.

Lighting cell (thin coloured plastic from a model shop):
        Red
        Blue
        Green
        Orange

Sticky back tape, the thinner the better.
A red CD-R pen
A small drill bit

Clocks

Remove your clocks from the car by removing the two screws under the cowl
pull the cowl off then undo the four screws holding the clocks into the car
pull the clocks forward, unclip the speedo cable and pull out the muliplug and pull the clocks free.

Dismantle your clocks by taking out the top bulbs and gently push the
retainers on the black piece in on the shroud and pull the face off the unit.

You may need to remove the little plastic pins on the dials,
if you do. Make sure the needle does not spin down past this point.

Stick your dials onto the original clocks by guiding them over the needles,
Use double sided tape making sure that they are aligned correctly before pressing down.

Make sure that the needles can move freely, if not, either push the dial
down a little or gently pull the needles up but do not remove them!!!!

Use the RED CD-R pen or paint to colour your needles.

Cut out your white legends

Remove the Black legends that are all ready there. You will notice that on the
back of these they are coloured. Cut out the white legends that you printed
You now need to get the following:

Lighting cell:
        Red
        Blue
        Green
        Orange

Cut the cells to the correct shape as needed for each section.
If you cut them right then they will stay in place with out tape.
If not then you will need to tape them down.

On the big ledged you will have to tape them all down or stick them to the
back of the photo card as there is nothing to hold the middle red section in place.

On each section there is a hole and a slit, cut the slit with
a knife and drill the hole with a small drill bit. Test fit them now.
If they are ok then stick on the cells if not then you will have to make adjustments.
